Well, after making our decision to change our lifestyle Lets start at the Beginning we were now faced with the challenge of finding the perfect van. Hmm this was easier said than done. we fell in love with every single van, bus, mobile home, horse trailer that we saw. We basically wanted to buy each and every one of them. One was even 15 meters long! Eventually after many dreams and nightmares we finally found the one!

However our joy didn’t last too long, on the way home the engine burnt out. I kid you not.

well eventually after a few arguments with the previous owner and some issues, he agreed to pay for the engine replacement and she was brought home to have her first celebratory drink with us.

This was to be the last time we saw her in her original state. . . from this point forward we started stripping her down. Every time we took something out we found open wiring, bent water pipes, leaks and so much more. It felt like an advert for a DIY shop.
